Our bungalow in located in the village
of Dolgarrog.
Which
is on the edge of Snowdonia and only 8 miles from Conwy
Is Y Coed is the name of the road the
bungalow is on, (though not
actually on the map) and is Welsh for
below the wood, as you can
see from the photograph.
In the village of Dolgarrog, there is a
Post Office/General Store, a
social club that accepts non members for a
small fee. On the edge
of the village is the Lord Newborough
restaurant. All these are
within ½ mile of the bungalow.
The nearest pub is Y Bedol in a village called
Tal-Y-Bont about 1½
miles away on the bus route.
